Imagine graduating from high school with a plan, a purpose, and the confidence required for future success!
Career and Technical Education (CTE) can help! Explore potential career pathways, gain real world hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and take advantage of opportunities to earn college credit while still in high school. Our career pathways promote the district’s strategic plan of equipping all students for lifelong success.
At Bolsa Grande High School, students may choose from the following Career Pathways:
Students in CTE programs can earn industry certifications and college credits and are also able to participate in student leadership, clubs, competitions, and the district summer internship between 11th and 12th grade.
Think of a CTE Pathway as choosing a high school "major." Choose pathway classes based on a future career field of interest to you. To earn a Career Pathway certificate, you will need to take a sequence of at least two year-long CTE elective courses from a chosen pathway. This can really help you stand out on college and job applications.
